I am getting good vibes about Jodha Akbar-
Normally I do not like either Aishwariya or Hritik, I found 'em intolerable in Dhoom II, but somwhow, I am fairly convinced that Ashutosh has done a brilliant job in the movie, and so I am dyyyyying to watch it! ...like now....

me have watched it.... as usual first day on big screen in a Sydney theatre that would have rarely seen a house full session..
good movie but sub-par editing and screenplay. direction reminds you of the style followed for Sword of Tipu Sultan (a DD television serial)... i guess Ashutosh Gowarikar not able to recreate the magic of Lagaan..
then again in current politicial scenario he might have had more success if he made a movie on Shivaji with Raj Thakerey in the lead role!!
Really??
dang- I remember the Sword of TIpu Sultan very well- kinda sleepy in parts honestly, though pretty good.
I'd actually like a movie on Shivaji- not necessarily with that gentleman in the lead.
I am now really enthu to see this- its just hard for me not to cringe while watching hritik and aishwariya pose all over the screen while pretending to act (dhoom 2 shoom 2)!
I loved this movie. I understand why some people find it slow, but I'm usually one of those people and I didn't find it slow at all. And Hrithik and Aishwarya were less irritating than usual :-) Go see it on the big screen, it is sumptuously beautiful!
I cant take it anymore- I must gather the energy and committment to drive out 50 miles on a 1 day weekend to the closest indian movie theatre and see it .... aagh.
Thanks to you, I am building the motivation...right about now.
You won't regret it (I hope!)...take someone with you :-)
