Sonam Kapoor- Everyday Quotes and (Imaginary) Thoughts

Filmi Girl noted I didn't say anything about Sonam Kapoor's food habits in my last toon, which lead to a chain of thoughts that resulted in this post. I think I've credited Ms. Kapoor here with too vast a vocabulary- but lets just call that poetic license, shall we?

I like to "affectionately" refer to her as "Sominex", because just looking at her makes me fall asleep. She strikes me as little more than a cardboard cut-out that occasionally moves and speaks.

Lapetitediva: I've been feeling guilty for judging her too harshly, so your and others comments really help me feel better. It def makes me feel better to find support in blogland! I think sonam needs solid diction and voice classes. With that, and the huge marketing machine she has going, she'd be formidable. Without the current flat-lined voice, its just painful to watch her.

Hehehe Sonam eating is certainly food for thought!

Is she recognised as a "thinking" actor? One who keeps thinking,"What shall I think?" And shouldn't she be making some statement about how great her Dad is, how much she loves him, and that she wouldn't have him play her onscreen Dad because he is too "young"?

Bollyviewer: I read an interview in TOI, where she acknowledged thanks for being a thinking actor. I almost laughed aloud reading that. Poor Anil- his youth hobbles him.

Hilarious. Well, a lot of these actors need diction and voice classes. Let's see what fashion girl Sonam does in 'Aisha'. :) Definitely fodder for more comic strips.

Banno: TOI was gushing over it in their review of Aisha, but then I didn't expect anything else. I do think she should at least SOUND happy when she is acting happy, which cant be too much to ask of an actor. I am a bit scared of going to see the movie, I'll admit.
