'Cos I ain't looking at the women (not much anyway), and what would movies be without these hunks? Note that I say "filmi" men, for beauty isn't restricted to Bollywood...
Salman in Dabangg - I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't as impressed by this as I was by Wanted (2009). Dabangg lacked cohesive editing because of its sheer need to focus on Salman all the time- which really shouldn't be much cause to complain....
Arjun in Rajneeti - Really! and how! in the minute just before he does who-knows-what with Shruti Seth, the gleam in is eyes is so maniacal to the extreme- I could finally accept Arjun as an actor. Huge achievement. His face is finally mobile, and I am super happy to know it.

Sonu Sood in Dabangg - Lurve. He was born to act out Chedi Singh, a perfect mix of buffoonery and villainy. I don't believe anyone else could replace him in that character, and for that, he is pretty brilliant in my eyes.
Vikram in Ravanan - You knew this was coming, right? I'll always love Ravanan for making me a Vikram fan. And he is so brilliant in this movie, that a friend who I made watch Ravanan actually forgot his terrible experience of the Hindi Raavan after seeing Vikram being Beera. I'd love to cheat and add all the other Vikram movies I caught up on after watching this, but it wouldn't be fair....so I am holding myself back!
And that folks, are my top filmi men of 2010- who do you love?

Yes, NO, Yes, Yes and HELLZ YEAH!!! Great list! (Arjun has never really made it on my list, I've never found him very attractive. Yes I know, every woman thinks I'm strange).
Men I loved ? ;-) well, Salman in Dabanng for sure. Agree with Arjun too. Ajay in Once Upon a Time in Mumbai was awesome. Havent seen Raavanan yet. And most menacing was Abhimanyu Singh in Rakhtcharitra-I. He was like 'OMG such a satan he is'
amaluu: I empathize w/ ur feelings about arjn. Chances are, he may never repeat what he was able to acheive in Rajneeti. But I def had to give him credit for what he was able to do there! Side note- ur blog is looking really great- just added to my roll, and will follow it actively henceforth!
Dunkdaft: I really want to see Once Upon... it sounds great! Abhimanyu doesn't do much for me, but that's prob just me :D
Totally agree with three of your choices. Arjun finally impressed me. Salman simply rocked. And there is just something about Sonu. Haven't seen Robot or Raavanan yet. Here's to more notable characters and performances next year!
YES to Sallu, YES! to Arjun - he is SOOO good (finally!!) in Raajneeti, yay!, and YESSSSSS x a million to Vikram (and yeah, I know I need to get in line!)
Other standouts for me this year...definitely John Abraham in Aashayein (probably not a popular pick but whatever, he was really good) and Ajay Devgn and Emran Hashmi in OUATIM.
Daddy's Girl: Is it sad that most of us say "finally" to Arjun? he has been so wooden always that its almost a relief. and u must get around to raavanan at least- the more vikram love there is in the world, the better the world will be... :D
Ness: John/Ashayein? thats the 1st appreciation ive heard of him- something to think about for sure. I realize i need to see OUATM- my bad!
Having finally seen Band Baaja Baaraat I have to say that Ranveer Singh would be on my version of this list. And I absolutely agree with Arjun Rampal...that scene was incredibly hot, and he was all-around fantastic in the film.
Also really enjoyed Nana Patekar in Raajneeti (what a handsome guy!) and Abhay Deol in Road, Movie.
Bombay Talkies: I think that the issue w/ Nana is that he is just way too good at all his characters- to the extent that we expect him to be brilliant always and therefore dont appreciate him as much as he should be. I agree w/ u on him though. Didnt add Abhay cos I thought Road was in 09- my bad- but im sure he will be back on the list w/ next year's movies :)
I must admit not to have seen any of your chosen movies... But I'll do it, very soon... Have to keep up.
However, my top filmi men would be SRK in MNIK (I'm very predictable about Shahrukh), Shahid in Badmaash Company (hot), Abhay Deol in Aisha (even though the character wasn't much of a challenge) and Hrithik Roshan in Kites (as always).
I was just realizing to my horror that I haven't seen any 2010 films, until Peepli Live which I watched *yesterday* here in the waning days of 2010.
If I had not so terribly shirked my duties, I would volunteer to do the women of 2010 counterpart to this post. Clearly more research is warranted ... ;)
Limette: I have seen only Aisha from your picks- clearly we were all working too hard in 2010.
Filmi Geek: I did consider doing a list of women, but my 1st interest was in the men :D I'll try to do a list of women in the 3 days that remain of this year :D
Sooonnuuuuuu, Soooonnuuuu....
oh, I'm sorry did you have other people on the list besides Sonu and his ripped abdomen?
I wholeheartedly endorse these choices, although those roles aren't necessarily the ones I think they are hottest in. (What can I say, I really liked Arjun in Rock On).
Go for it and do the women, I'm curious to see who pops...
Dustdevil liz: Oh I certainly agree they arent hottest in these- but they seemed so to me for the year 2010. I stand completely alone Im sure when I sheepishly admit that I didnt get Rock On at alll....:D [dont throw hings at me. please!]
